What is a Connection?
A Connection is one reply from your Reflection — one turn of the conversation. Ask a question and receive an answer: that uses one Connection. Reading, answering interview questions, and everything you have already written are never metered. Only conversations with your Reflection use Connections.
Your Mirror purchase includes 10 Connections per month for your first year. The twelve-month period begins when you ask your Reflection its first question, not when you purchase Mirror. Unused Connections do not roll over; each included month begins with ten.
If you want more than ten Connections in a month, or want to continue talking with your Reflection after the included year ends, you may choose an optional monthly Connections plan. You may cancel it at any time. Mirror itself remains yours whether or not you have an active Connections plan.
There is no automatic overage billing. When the available Connections are used, the conversation pauses until the next included month or until you choose a plan.

Before you begin
Is this therapy?
No, and it does not pretend to be. Mirror asks good questions and reflects patterns back to you. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace a professional. If something you write here needs a person, please go and find one.
How much does Mirror cost?
Mirror Light is $12.99 and Mirror Full is $29.99, paid once. That purchase gives you permanent access to your Mirror and never renews. It also includes 10 Connections per month for your first year. After that year, an optional monthly Connections plan is available if you want to continue having conversations with your Reflection.
What is a Connection?
One Connection is one reply from your Reflection — one turn of the conversation. Your purchase includes 10 Connections per month for the first twelve months, beginning when you ask your Reflection its first question. Answering interview questions is never metered; only conversations with your Reflection use Connections. After the included year, you can choose an optional monthly Connections plan if you want to keep talking.
Is there a subscription?
Mirror itself is not a subscription. You purchase it once and it remains yours. Your purchase includes 10 Connections per month for your first year. If you want more Connections during that year, or want to continue talking with your Reflection after the included year ends, you can choose an optional monthly plan: $5 for 50 Connections or $10 for 110 Connections. The plan can be cancelled at any time, and there is no automatic overage billing.
Do I have to answer 1,000 questions?
No. Your Reflection builds from whatever you have answered — the first version arrives at 100. Most people answer in short sittings over months.
What happens if I stop answering?
Nothing at all. There is no streak, no reminder campaign, no decay. Your Reflection keeps whatever it has learned and waits. Come back in a year and it is exactly where you left it — and the next answer you give still makes it richer.
Can anyone read my answers?
No. Mirror has no sharing at all — no invite button, no guest link, no family view. It is not switched off somewhere in settings; it does not exist in the software. If you also keep a Legacy, that one is separate and shared only with people you name.
Can I export everything?
Yes, whenever you want. One click gives you a complete file with every question, your answer to it, and any recordings you made. Your words are yours — the export works even while an account is being closed, so you can always keep a copy.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. You close the account yourself, and there is a fourteen-day window in case you change your mind. After it passes, your answers and recordings are permanently erased. That step cannot be undone.
Can I use Mirror on my phone?
Yes — most people do. It runs in your phone's browser with nothing to install, and it works just as well on a laptop. You can answer by typing or by speaking.
What if I answer something and change my mind?
Answer it again. The earlier answer is not erased or discarded. Mirror preserves it as an earlier layer of who you were, then adds the new answer as another layer of your evolving identity. Both remain part of your history, allowing your Reflection to understand not only what you believe now, but how and when your thinking changed.
What if I want my Reflection updated sooner?
Updates at 100, 300, 600 and 1,000 answers are free and automatic. Between those points you can rebuild on demand for $2.99 — one-time, never a subscription.
