Our Promise
A deletion request should never be difficult to make.
This page explains how to request deletion of your Celibrium Account and the data associated with it, what happens after you ask, and how long each step takes. Deletion is free, and you are never required to give a reason.
Submit a Deletion Request
Open the app or the website, go to Account, and choose Delete my account. Deactivation is immediate, the fourteen-day recovery period begins at once, and during it you may restore your Account, have a copy of everything emailed to you, or complete the deletion straight away without waiting.
The form below is for anyone who cannot sign in, who wants only part of their data removed, or who is acting for someone who has died.
Complete the fields below and select Prepare my deletion request. Your email application will open with the request already written for you, addressed to legal@celibrium.com. Review it and send.
Verification
Because deletion is permanent, we verify that a request comes from the Account holder before acting on it.
- Requests sent from the email address registered to the Account are ordinarily sufficient.
- If the request arrives from a different address, we will ask you to confirm from the registered address or to verify your identity by another reasonable means.
- We ask only for the information necessary to confirm the request, and we do not use that information for any other purpose.
We acknowledge deletion requests within five (5) business days of receipt.
What Happens After You Ask
Deletion follows the process described in our Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy:
- Immediately. Your Account is deactivated and access to the Services is suspended. Nothing is permanently erased yet.
- Fourteen (14) days. A recovery period begins. Your Legacy remains securely stored and your Account can be restored by logging in and selecting Restore Account, which cancels the deletion request.
- Or immediately, if you choose. During the recovery period you may select Proceed with Deletion in your Account, and confirm, to complete the deletion without waiting the fourteen days. This is available in the app and on the website, requires a separate confirmation, and cannot be undone.
- After the recovery period. Permanent deletion begins automatically and in ordinary operation completes the same day; where a fault or a legal hold delays it, it completes within five (5) business days. Account information, Legacy data, interview responses and all preserved versions, photographs, videos, Voice Recordings, Digital Twin data, account settings, and Connections history are permanently removed from our production systems.
What May Remain, and For How Long
- Consent records. The record of the agreements you accepted — Terms, Privacy Policy, the confirmation that you are eighteen or older, and any Voice Cloning or media consent — is kept, including the email address that accepted them. A consent nobody can be matched to is not evidence of anything, and that evidence protects you as much as it protects Celibrium. It is never used to contact you and never restored into an Account. The IP address recorded at the time is deleted with the rest of your Account. If you would like the consent records erased too, say so in your request and we will, wherever the law does not require us to keep them. Details in Section 6.A of the Data Retention policy.
- Voice Models. Deletion is transmitted to our authorized voice synthesis provider without unreasonable delay. Backup copies held by that provider may persist for a limited period under the provider's own deletion schedule.
- Encrypted backups. Copies may temporarily remain in our disaster recovery systems, where they expire automatically on our operational backup schedule. They are not used to restore intentionally deleted Accounts.
- Billing and tax records. Invoices, payment history, and related financial documentation may be retained where required by applicable law, kept separately from Legacy content wherever practicable.
- Content stored on your own device. Digital Twin conversation history held locally remains until you clear it through Celibrium settings, your browser or device settings, or by uninstalling the application.
Requests on Behalf of Someone Who Has Died
Celibrium exists to preserve Legacies, so Accounts are not deleted automatically when a User dies. Deletion of a deceased User's Legacy occurs only at the request of an Authorized Representative or where required by applicable law.
If you are making such a request, please tell us your relationship to the Account holder and the authority under which you act. We will explain what documentation is needed and handle the request with care.
Other Privacy Rights
Deletion is one of several rights you may hold under applicable law, alongside the rights to access, correct, and obtain a portable copy of your Personal Information, and to limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information. These rights are described in our Privacy Policy, and you may exercise any of them at the same address below.
We will never restrict your access to the Services, change your price, or treat you differently because you exercised a privacy right.

Final Statement
Preservation is our purpose, but it is never our decision. When you ask us to erase what you entrusted to us, we will do it carefully, completely, and without argument.
